Located adjacent to the Cudahy Manor and accented by Tudor style columns and scrollwork, the Lakeview Portico offers stunning views of the Mackinac Bridge and surrounding Straits of Mackinac. An ideal setting for smaller weddings and rehearsal dinners, the portico can accommodate up to 40 guests.

Accommodations and Amenities

The Cudahy Manor

Our turn of the century Tudor mansion offers 16 captivating guest rooms featuring views of the Inn’s expansive grounds, the Mackinac Bridge and surrounding Straits of Mackinac. All guest rooms are non-smoking and are equipped with a private bath, telephone and wireless internet.

The Summer House

Located adjacent to the Manor, the Summer House contains 31 suites. Decorated in a classic summer cottage style, all suites feature air conditioning, a full size sofa sleeper, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, television, wireless internet and telephone.

Amenities

All registered guests are welcome to enjoy our hot breakfast buffet each morning. Enjoy a cocktail on the Portico with a stunning view of the sunset over the Mackinac Bridge and dinner in The Cudahy Chophouse.

The Woods golf course, bike rentals, heated swimming pool, and nature trails offer guests plenty of things to see and do.

General Information and Policies

Rental fees are quoted based on factors including number of guests, time, and the day of week. Fees includes set up, tables, chairs, white damask linens, silverware, glassware, and simple white china

A deposit equal to the function space rental charges is due with your signed contract. All deposits received are non-refundable.

All ceremony and reception deposit payments are non-refundable. Final counts and Menu choices are due 30 days prior to the event.

It is a requirement that our facility is notified of the exact number of attendees by noon (30) days prior to the event date.

Full payment of ceremony and reception fees (plus tax)

is due within 30 days of booking.

All function space rental charges are subject to 6% sales tax

and 8% hotel surcharge.

The Inn at Stonecliffe reserves the right to require decorations to be set up and removed by staff of The Inn at Stonecliffe only and to charge an additional fee for this service.

Fog machines, balloons, confetti and similar items are prohibited in the Grotto, Lawn or Tent.

Due to fire regulations, no open flame candles are permitted. Votive candles and Hurricanes are OK.

Reception space is subject to a four-hour time limit. All outdoor functions must end no later than 10:00 p.m., and all function spaces must be vacated by 10:00 p.m.

Light-style, acoustical music, or a Disc Jockey are permitted during group functions. All entertainment is subject to and must be approved in advance by the Director of Sales & Catering.

All food, beverage and rental items are subject to 6% state sales tax and 20% service charge. State sales tax may be added on rentals and other applicable items.

Our liquor license states that no outside alcoholic beverages are allowed to be brought onto property for consumption in any public area, nor will a guest be permitted to pay a “corkage fee” to consume their own alcoholic beverages on our premises.

Full payment is required in advance for all events. Payment must be in the form of cash, certified check, cashier’s check or credit card. If the function includes a consumption bar, estimated bar charges must also be paid in advance. Any balance due must be paid, in full, upon completion of the function by credit card.

Effective May 1, 2010 and as mandated by Michigan state law, The Inn at Stonecliffe is 100% non-smoking, including all guestrooms, outdoor balconies, public areas and restrooms. Please inquire as to our designated smoking areas.

Hotel is able to arrange portage or amenity deliveries for

your event at additional cost

The Inn at Stonecliffe will gladly receive in-coming shipment of supplies necessary for any function. Shipments will be accepted no sooner than three (3) days prior to the function.
