Our pool is usually open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, dpeneding on weather.
Our pool will be closing for the season Mid-September. Please call before your stay to check if it will be availalbe while you are with us.
Our pool is open from 9 A.M. to 9 P.M. daily.
Our property is located approximately 2 miles from downtown.
We offer packages that do include ferry and shuttle tickets, but they are not provided without of of these packages.
No, not all of our Summer House rooms have balconies, though most do. Please call the hotel to see which rooms with balconies are available before making your reservation.
We only guarantee bride and water views from select rooms in the Mansion. These rooms are called Mansion Bridgeview or Mansion Manor rooms.
The Mansion was built in 1904, and offers a more romantic and timeless fee. WHile there is no AC or elevator, the views are specatcular. Summer House rooms offer a more modern amenties - an elevator and AC, as well as a mini-fridge, microwave and wet bar in each room.
Although we love our furry friends, we are not pet friendly. We do allow certificted service animals. There is not a location on the island to board pets.
Abolutely! The ferry will charge a nominal fee for transporting the bike to the island. We have parking spaces on property, but please remember to bring your own lock.
Please note that Mackinac Island Carriage Tours will NOT allow any bikes to be transported on tehir shuttle or taxi, no matter what size it is.
We do not provide bike locks or helmets, but you're more than welcome to bring your own.
We do not allow bikes to be kept in our rooms. We have guest bike racks available for you to use.
Check in is 3pm and check out is 11am.
Have a mainland porter tag your bags with Inn at Stonecliffe luggage tags. As long as it is tagged, it will make its way to the hotel, genearlly within 2-4 hours. Much like when you are checking bags at an airport, we ask that you not check valuables or medication and keep them with you at all times.
Hold onto your claim tags and present them to our front desk upon check in. We will soon deliver your bags directly to your room.
If your luggage has been tagged, you need not worry about it as it will be shuttlled to the hotel on the next avaialable shuttle. You may enjoyr some time downtown and head to the hotel at your leisure. You can bike or walk to the hotel - expect a 2 mile uphill treck. Mackinac Island Carriage Tours also offers a horse-drawn taxi as well as a scheduled shuttle. Please call them at 906-847-3323 with transportation questions or to schedule a ride.

Our restaurant does not have a dress code.
Yes! Please ask your sever what options there are and they would be happy to assist you.
Our bar and dining room are closed during lunch hours, but we do sell box lunches that can be requested with advance notice.
We do not sell gift cards, but you may purchase gift certificates to present to a recipient for them to enjoy a future stay with us.
