Traveling to the island is a different experience. Whether you choose to bike or take a horse-drawn carriage, we hope you will enjoy slowing down to take in the beautiful landscape throughout your time on the island. How do I get ferry tickets?
Your chariot awaits at Shepler's Mackinac Island Ferry! Click here to purchase tickets in advance to receive $2 off an adult ticket, or $1 off a child ticket. If you would rather purchase tickets in person at the dock, mention you are a Stonecliffe guest to receive the same discount. Please arrive to the Shepler's dock 1 hour ahead of your planned departure time in order to get your luggage tagged with our Inn at Stonecliffe luggage tags. When the ferry arrives to Mackinac Island, our Inn at Stonecliffe Dock Porter will be there to assist you with your luggage and assist you with your transport if needed.

How do I get from the airport to the ferry?
Shuttles from Pellston Airport to the Shepler's Ferry Dock can be arranged through www.mackinawshuttle.com

How do I get to The Inn at Stonecliffe from Downtown?
Our designated Stonecliffe shuttle is a service offered by Mackinac Island Carriage tours and is a fixed-route shuttle that goes from Shepler's Ferry Dock downtown to Stonecliffe.Our Stonecliffe shuttle, serviced through Mackinac Island Carriage Tours, is a scenic 45-minute fixed route from Stonecliffe to Shepler's Ferry Dock downtown. For guests staying with us, carriage rides are complimentary upon arrival and departure.  Additionally, horse-drawn taxi service is available 24 hours a day during the peak summer season, also provided by Mackinac Island Carriage Tours. Please note that taxis cannot be hailed on Mackinac Island; you must call the taxi dispatch office at (906) 847-3323 or have our concierge call to schedule your pickup. For additional taxi service, plan in advance at least a day ahead of time. For any questions, please contact our concierge for assistance. You are welcome to bring your own personal pedal bikes to our property which must be rode up at your leisure. 

Head to our General Store to rent a bicycle at our onsite Bike Pavilion. Adult, youth kid bikes, and burleys are available at a first come first serve basis. Adult bike rentals are $60 for half day and $90 for full day. Enjoy exploring the island and know that all bikes must be returned back to our Bike Pavilion at the end of the day. 

Horse-drawn taxi service is provided by Mackinac Island Carriage tours 24 hours a day during the peak summer season. Something unique about Mackinac Island is that taxis cannot be “hailed” and you must call the taxi dispatch office or our concierge to schedule your pickup. For any questions about taxis please contact our concierge at info@theinnatstonecliffe.com for assistance.

The Backyard
Experience outdoor casual dining with simplicity in mind located next to our General Store and Mansion buildings. Dine in our Backyard Pavilion where you can enjoy watching your pizzas be made, or take in the view of the Mackinac Bridge on our  outdoor patio (weather dependent). Be sure to order our delicious and popular brick-oven pizzas.  

Horsey’s Pub
Head to our elegant cozy pub for an inviting ambiance and deliciously blended craft cocktails and light bites.

Maybe you got here and realized you forgot to pack some essentials or you want to pick up an Inn at Stonecliffe souvenir to remember your stay. No matter what you need, The General Store carries exclusive branded resort wear with designer appeal, as well as toiletries, and other sundries.

Choose from two separate pool experiences during the warm months. The family pool is open to all ages and is open from 9am-7pm. Our adults–only pool is adjacent to the Wellness Center, making it the ideal spot to cool off after a workout in an oasis-like setting. Adult pool hours are from 9am-9pm.

The scenery at our estate is at the heart of the Stonecliffe experience. Step onto the Straits Lawn, a sprawling expanse of private green space with perfectly suited for lawn games, and lounging in our Adirondack chairs. During the evening join us for nightly bonfires on the lawn, and enjoy complimentary s'mores kits for guests in our General Store. 

Featuring the latest exercise equipment and fitness amenities — including steam showers and a sauna — our Wellness Center is designed with a focus on health. Attend a class or simply enjoy our state-of-the-art facilities. Our Wellness Center is open 24/7 and our Spa Services are located on the second floor, available for an additional cost.

From the moment you step off the ferry, connect with our Dock Porter who will take care of your baggage transportation to Stonecliffe. Each guest will receive complimentary carriage rides upon arrival and departure during your stay. Once here, you will have access to property-wide Wi-Fi, concierge services, complimentary coffee and water in your room. You will also have access to all our exciting resort activities, including nightly s'mores around the fire pits on the lawn, scheduled fitness classes, lawn games, an adults-only pool, a family pool, and a 24-hour wellness center.
