How do I book my carriage ride to the hotel?
The Stonecliffe shuttle is a service offered by Mackinac Island Carriage tours and is a fixed-route shuttle taxi that goes between the ferry docks downtown and Stonecliffe. Our designated Stonecliffe Carriages leave every hour on the hour leaving from Shepler's Ferry Dock and out front of our Mansion, beginning at 7am until 7pm.  Please let us know your arrival time and we will arrange for luggage porters upon your arrival to the Mackinac Island ferry dock. Mackinac Island Carriage Tours Taxis run 24/7. Contact them directly at (906) 847-3323. 

How do I get ferry tickets?
Tickets are available on www.sheplersferry.com. There is a discount available for Stonecliffe guests when purchasing online. When purchasing in person, please mention that you are staying at Stonecliffe to receive the discount at the ticket window.

How do I get from the airport to the ferry?
Shuttles from Pellston Airport to the Shepler's Ferry Dock can be arranged through www.mackinawshuttle.com

Head to our General Store to rent a bicycle at our onsite Bike Pavilion. Adult, youth kid bikes, and burleys are available at a first come first serve basis. Adult bike rentals are $60 for half day and $90 for full day. Then, explore two miles out to all the spots downtown or explore the quiet biking trails that lead to some of the most scenic spots on the island. 

Horse-drawn taxi service is provided by Mackinac Island Carriage tours 24 hours per day during the peak summer season. Something unique about Mackinac Island is that taxis cannot be “hailed” and you must call the taxi dispatch office or our concierge to schedule your pickup. For any questions about taxis please contact our concierge at info@theinnatstonecliffe.com for assistance.

Maybe you got here and realized you forgot to pack sunscreen or you want to pick up an Inn at Stonecliffe souvenir to remember your stay. No matter what you need, The General Store carries exclusive branded resort wear with designer appeal, as well as toiletries and other sundries.

Choose from two separate pool experiences during the warm months. The family pool is open to all ages and features cabanas and loungers. Our adults–only pool is adjacent to the Wellness Center, making it the ideal spot to cool off after a workout in an oasis-like setting.

Our brand-new, 3,000-square-foot Sunset Pavilion event venue is designed to host a number of events, from wedding receptions and corporate functions to group retreats, milestone celebrations, and charity events, guests can enjoy festivities indoors and out on an expansive patio with sweeping views of the Straits of Mackinac.
